Infinity Construction completed this remodel just before Christmas of 2018. Demolition on this home’s primary, middle portion was conducted to take the almost 20-year-old designs into the present and beyond. With an open-concept remodel, multiple areas must be integrated and tied together cohesively.

First, the Kitchen was scrapped from the white MDF film cabinets and updated with a magnificent Brown/Grey tone cabinet in the modern shaker style. Architecturally pleasing and modern pulls make the effect both modern and elegant. The Pulls for the cabinetry feature a finger notch to aid in opening and offer a very progressive styling aspect. With the upper cabinets stretching the room’s length and increasing from 36” in height to 42”, a massive amount of storage space was gained. Modern features such as pull-out trash cans and a spice-rack mounted drawer aided a level of convenience not previously available.

As for Appliances, the owners selected modern Stainless-Steel GE CAFÉ series appliances in addition to a Sharp drawer-based microwave. The owners pick out a fantastic white Quartz countertop with a Grey/Blue vein running throughout. The Plumbing fixtures complement the modern style with a gooseneck faucet and a massive rectangular 1/3 height divider. Finally, sandblasted wavy glass doors were added to some cabinets, and a Japanese Angular Backsplash was installed.

The Next area of importance was the remaking of the Family Room and Den. First, a geometric tile was added above and around the fireplace. A border cap encased the transitional lines of the geometric tile and encircled the fireplace perimeters. Infinity Construction then took a rough-hewn Cedar Beam post sanding and staining and mounted it to create a Floating Mantle. Secondly, Infinity Construction added an Architectural tile to a recessed area and complemented it with the same cabinetry used in the Kitchen, but this time in a drawer format. Atop the cabinetry, a Quartz stone was added in a concrete color adding a deep degree of depth to this area.

Finally, Infinity Construction added all new lighting in the form of recessed sconces, pendants, and hanging fixtures. The entire area was painted with an eggshell light grey paint that aided in brightening the entire area. The white oak floors were re-stained in a Teak Color, and Cedar Columns were constructed to replace the old fluted style previously in place. In the raised Den, the removal of the wainscoting, sponge-painted walls, and old carpet took place to free that area up for the same paint in the other rooms, as well as a fantastic Raised Profile Blue/Green Geometric Carpet. Finally, new plug covers and switches, along with some smaller details, were added to complete this remarkable make-over.
