Fantastic Fix at 37777

Infinity Construction was contacted to aid in bringing this fantastic structure up to date and revitalizing the exterior.  Our first objective was to prevent the elements from harming this remarkable property.  We first set out and re-chinked the logs as needed, cleaned then re-painted the entire exterior, cleaned and treated the roof, treated surrounding trees to minimize roof staining, made various other weatherproofing modifications, and added slip-resistant coatings to the wooden walkway.

We then replaced the aging arbor with a new unit and stained it to keep with the style of the home.  We added a mini-split HVAC system at one of the outhouses and constructed a cat entry and litter substructure.

Then, we took on the massive job of placing medium river rock all around all the houses to provide a buffer and accentuate the unique architecture that is indicative of this house.  The landscaping continued to evolve and waste areas were revitalized and covered with pine straw allowing us to define the open spaces and established plants in relevant areas.

Finally, the general cleaning of walkways and the addition of more paths made of fieldstone and fine rock were improved to aid in the transition from the main house to the sub-structures.  The result was nothing short of a major transformation to the overall appearance of this gorgeous home.  This property’s exterior is simply breathtaking with the improvements that were made.

If that was not enough, then we shifted our focus to the interior by constructing a new kitchen and updating two baths, and additionally repainting the interior of this fine home.  Both baths received minor updates adding to their functionality and updating their overall appearances.

The kitchen, our next focus point, was beginning to show its age and our client wanted us to revitalize this space with modern amenities, updated fixtures, and new cabinets and add some major pizazz.  We worked with our cabinet designer and came up with a great cabinet plan that allowed for a much more appropriately utilized space.

We were able to ditch the old cabinet doors and go to draws; so no more bending down to get to the back of your cabinet spaces.  The cabinet color, brushed brass fixtures, and copper veined quartz tops created a remarkable final appealing product.

If that was not enough eye candy, then we installed a custom copper hood that immediately enters your eye on the new gourmet range and breathtaking herringbone backsplash flanked by the warming grey shaker cabinets.

Our clients gained not only functionality but now have one of the most stylish kitchens we have done to date accentuating the remarkable style and architecture of this one-of-a-kind property.
